NightCreams.org's Top-Rated Night Cream of 2012

After reviewing an almost endless amount of night creams, the one that stuck out the most to us was Nanotokin. Because it stimulates collagen and elastin production, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and evens out skin color, this product has distinguished itself by combining the highest quality ingredients with the most advanced technology, making it the best deal on the market.

Biotherm Skin Vivo Night

‘Night’ is a cream created by Biotherm as part of the anti-aging line ‘Skin Vivo.’ The line as a whole claims to take 10 years off of the wrinkles on your face in just four weeks. Skin Vivo includes a cream for both normal and dry skin, an eye cream, and a serum, as well as the night cream. Only two products from the night cream are listed – pure thermal plankton and Reverserol SV. The plankton is supposed to act as a filler, repairing the structure of the skin, particularly in regards to deep wrinkles. The Reverserol SV, patented by Biotherm, is said to protect DNA and stimulate the birth of new healthy cells. The combination of these two products is the “secret weapon” for the Skin Vivo line, claiming to be the first reversive treatment.

Unfortunately, neither of these products has been proven to work, and since there are no peptides or stem cells listed in the active ingredients, it is unlikely that this product will do more than moisturize the skin. In fact, many consumers state that they like the product as a moisturizer, but have not seen big results in terms of anti-aging elements.

Pricewise, you are paying for big results – $61 for 50 ml – and it is unlikely that you will get them. The entire Skin Vivo line would cost hundreds of dollars, and there is not a product listed in that line that has the active ingredients necessary for the results it promises. Even as a moisturizer, it doesn’t contain chrysin and hyaluaronic acid, both of which are usually found in the top quality moisturizers and lotions. Women enjoyed the lightness of the product, as well as its powder scent, but for $61, we expected better – and we were disappointed.
