Will egg and flour work as a face mask alternative?
I’ve heard from a few people that egg and flour is a great substitute for night creams. You’re just supposed to mix an egg or two with enough flour to make a mixture that will stick to your face and then wash it off with water thoroughly. Do this a few times a week and it should prevent wrinkles, tighten the skin, and maybe even treat the damage that’s already there.
Seeing how you can buy 18 large eggs and a bag of flour for $5.00 or less, it would be a cheap alternative as well. Currently, I’m a single mom who’s receiving no child support, so I need to cut back every where I can! I’m sure there are other women in similar situations, especially with the economy in its current state. I usually pay $40 for my current night cream and I’m not even sure if it does anything all that special. Also, I don’t want to cut this out of my regimen completely.
I’m going to try it over the next month and let you know the results. At the same time, it makes me wonder why everyone isn’t doing it if it is so great. My first thought is that it might encourage breakouts or maybe the raw egg will harvest some strange bacteria. My skin is already acne prone, so I’ll be a good candidate. (Doesn’t really help if the tester never gets breakouts anyway.) Either way, I’ll report what happens in a month or so.
